The Eremos Thai Bible is a new translation from the Hebrew and Greek, offered to the Thai church as a gift. It's placed in the public domain (CC0) so any church, app, or translator can freely use and build on it. We mean it to add to — and gratefully build on — the good work others have long done in Thai Scripture, not to compete with it.

Every verse is drafted from the Masoretic Hebrew and the SBL Greek New Testament with the help of AI, then checked against layered rules for faithfulness to the original text, natural Thai, and consistent divine names and honorifics — and read by Thai reviewers before a book is called finished. We follow recognized translation principles and record every decision in the open, so anyone can weigh it. This is deliberately a work in progress: we would rather be corrected than be quietly wrong, and we welcome the scrutiny of trained translators and native speakers alike. The reading app at eremosapp.com carries this translation alongside its daily Scripture rhythms; everything — text, decisions, tooling — lives in the public repository.
